This collection was inspired by the pastries we serve at my family's restaurant, R Bistro & Pastry, in Fairhope, Alabama. The pastry theme can be seen, not only in the china plate prints, but also in the white ruffles that emulate whipped cream. The bright colors of the collection are a nod to the beautiful glazes and fruits that decorate the French pastries.

This collection was created for my first solo show-a salon show at R Bistro & Pastry where the attendees were given pastries that the collection was inspired by. The show picked up traction and sold out, prompting Mobile Fashion Week to ask me to show it there as well.
